What is 42?

42 is a FREE 42 day program that will change your BODY, MIND and SPIRIT. It will detox, tone and slim your body. The average person who does 42 loses 20 to 25 pounds. 42 is designed to help you to overcome The 7 Deadly Sins of Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Laziness, Greed, Envy and Anger. 42 is the only program of its type that encompasses the total person. When you finish, you will be a new person, a better person, a happier person, and a more powerful and fulfilled person. There is nothing to buy, everything is here at

42 consists of three parts: Spiritual Disciplines, Dietary and Exercise. You can click the appropriate buttons to get an overview of what is required in each section of the program. All three parts are necessary for the greatest benefit but if you only want to do a specific part, on the Daily To Do page simply follow the appropriate column.

Spiritual Disciplines

The following DAILY actions are required to combat the 7 deadly sins:
1. Pride – Read the Daily Proclamation aloud each morning and night.
2. Envy – Compliment someone and say nothing negative about anyone.
3. Gluttony –  Stop eating before getting full.
4. Lust – No flirting, sex outside of marriage, pornography, or inappropriate communication.
5. Anger – Must not get angry, curse or complain.
6. Greed – Give someone something material of any value.
7. Laziness – Pray and read scripture for one minute for each year of your age.

Now that you’ve chosen to Do 42 here are the 3 simple steps that you need to follow to begin:

1. Decide whether you want to enter the contest, what parts of 42 you want to do and your start date. It is not necessary to enter the contest to receive the benefits of 42. Contest participants must do all 3 parts of 42.
